It is a very sad day for England. Their football team crashed out of the Euro 2008 competition, after a 3-2 loss to Croatia. The Euro competition is second to the World Cup in terms of everything. But the woeful England, even failed to qualify. Thanks to their manager. Crashing out early is really an embarrassment.
Steve McLaren should be hiding by now and may he never show his face again in English football. But reports say he’s not resigning. Then fire him.
Where’s Lampard? Where’s Gerrard? Where are the glittering superstars for England? Do I need to mention Beckham, Terry and the others? European fans will simply miss another great team.
I’d be rooting for Portugal again. Go, Ronaldo!

mclaren, am sure, will get worse than what taylor has received when the same thing happened to england's team.
when the real test came... mclaren failed... quite miserably. im guessing few of us english will be putting a bet on football during the Euro Finals next year. Just out of interest, if you were to participate in a bit of football betting at some stage during the Euros, who would you back?
Steve's fired already. I guess the FA bosses need to consider their position too. I wish they hire either Scolari or Mourinho.

What is Euro without England? The team recently dropped out of the world's top 10 after the failure. Croatia even has a better ranking.
