Crossing the River

I’m happy on my side. They’re happy on theirs. They can see me, and I can see them waving with something in their hands. I must admit I took a peek, with the web as a scope, zooming in on how they did it.

A friend crossed over, finding the waters shallow, and saying it’s time to earn something out from the activities he loves. He surely did not abandon his flair in making lively posts, while getting paid on the sides.

I followed suit and decided to cross the river of paid blogging.

I signed up with Smorty last night and guess what? They approved my blog in less than twelve hours. Smorty is a service connecting advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers can advertise on blogs and pay bloggers to write opinion posts about their products or services. This will eventually benefit the advertiser as it increases their product exposure and inbound links.

For bloggers, you get paid for blogging. You really don’t have to burden yourself with what to write on a certain day. You can either blog for money, or just write for some other reasons. With Smorty, there are plenty of paid blogging opportunities. And you can certainly spice it up with your own writing style.

Welcome to the world of problogging, Lazarus! Smorty will really approve your blog quickly kasi it's your first program. Kita nila you haven't joined other programs pa and PR4 pa to boot! :)

thanks sasha! They're very swift in approving my blog. But I'll do everything in stride.

Oh. I've wondered about this--how do they pay you? Is it through online banking or through your credit card?

gypsy, payment is through paypal. opening a paypal account is easy. withdrawing, however, would take a longer process plus charges.

Lazarus, I'd like to cross over too .. soon, very soon. If not in my pesonal blogsite, then in my neglected other site. My only trouble is whether I can pick up the technicalities. :(

Hello, Gaw. I wish I can join the bandwagon too, but I can't find any place in my blog to where I'll put the "ads article." My site is themed for travel and photography only. I might open another site just for paid blogging. Kaso lang, I understand ang website nga may page ranking na is more to be approved than new ones.
Sige, good luck.

verns, oo ba. mag marami ng pera. he he.

annamanila, you can cross over. it is easy. if that neglected site still has a high pr rank, then probably, it will do.

gaw dodong, keep your site that way na lang. or maybe you can start a new blog.

josh, i consider myself quite late into this thing. it's probably my hesitations.

gypsy, paypal can connect with any visa card. as to the bank account, i read somewhere that Unionbank does it. You need to open an account with them.

manilenya, oo nga no! they approve English Only blogs. or maybe, you can create another blog just for problogging.

di pa rin ako marunong mag ingles e kaya di pa rin pwede :(
