Visiting the Crocs

My wife and I visited Crocolandia Foundation the other weekend. It is located in Biasong, Talisay City, Cebu. It was some sort of a date, and with the crocs. We’re not the only ones dating there, though. There was another couple lovingly hugging each other while watching the reptiles.

Here are some pics I’m going to share. Not really of good quality coz I was just using my 1.3MP camera phone. And hey, forget about the crocs winning the election.

I really wonder what this sign means. Are they going to gobble me up if I smile at them?

Scary. I will not even dare put my hand in there.

This is Lapu-lapu, a 47 year-old crocodile. He's enjoying the cool water. We should have waited for the feeding time for me to see how huge this one is.

uy, crocs, i always love watching crocodiles/alligators on animal planet, along with tigers/lions and snakes.

fascinating animals but very, very dangerous at may pagka-traidor (i am still talking about crocs not trapos)

cess/philo/zherwin, if i remembered it right, this reptile is 13 ft long.

sana you asked an employee there about the sign =)

Pero looking at the picture parang if you smile at the crocs, the crocs are smiling back because they are thinking of you as their dinner/lunch/breakfast/snack/brunch????

Very nice! Date pala. Hehe. Yung unang photo parang nagpapatawa hehe. Yng last photo di ko agad nahalata na me croc dun. 47yo matagal nga. I bet this is huge. Ilang feet na na-abot nya?

jho, the croc's plate is still empty. a smiling victim may be his answered prayer for a meal.

tin, di ko talaga alam ang pagkakaiba. di kaya parang synonymous lang yan? :) research kaya ako.

sexy mom, there's a crocodile farm in palawan. it has been featured in tv many times.

fredz, this lapu-lapu is 13-15ft. his wife is named magellan.

my dad said to us once that crocodiles are not good metaphors for politicians. crocodiles eat only once and afterwards, have to stay idle for months/weeks for the food to be completely digested.

so they are just hungry and not necessarily greedy.

naalala ko tuloy si steve irwin.

Wow, 47 years old! Lapu-Lapu looks monstrous. What a funny name for a croc. :)
