I’d like to keep this blog as simple as it is. Perhaps, I’ll post a few pics. But I’ll try without the sophistication of the many tempting add-ons on the side bar. I think I’ve placed enough here already.
I won’t even attempt Adsense. The pop-ups annoy me, and perhaps even for some readers. That is also the reason why I dislike friendster. But I kept my friendster account for some reason.
What about the color? Why green? I had blogs colored orange and blue. But I really like this one. It looks cool to the eyes.
I’d also like my 2007 to be simple. Life is really complicated when we just let it flow as it is. But with God’s help, we can make it simple. I’d focus on fewer goals and break down problems to its simplest form when I encounter one.
Ah, simple life! Shouldn’t we desire it?

Amen to that. It's amazing that many people want to clutter their lives with all sorts of stuff and end up exerting more effort on maintaining the clutter. :-)
tama, ako din gusto ko simple, madaling i maintain. kaya nung nagkaroon ng mga pagbabago sa new beta eh nahirapan ako dahil parang daming dapat ayusin pa, hehe. ngayon lumipat na ako ng bahay, madali lang, as in attach a picture, konting sulat ng text, ayun post na, hehe. happy new year
mag-two-two years na ata ako sa blogging di pa ako nagpali ng skin, mas gusto ko plain, wala halos laman kundi picture, konting kwento, at comments from blog friends...
I agree about simplicity. I've kept my blog template mostly looking the same old color. I've tweaked it a little bit here and there but it's still mostly the minima template. Adsense, on the other hand is an experiment which is not working out too well.

Indeed, simple is beautiful. When I was young life was so much simple but we are living in a complex world, the fact that we are blogging is a sign that life is not so simple as we want it to be. Consumerism, globalization, postmodernism among others make our life complicated... thus being simple and staying simple is becoming more and more difficult to attain.
But i agree with you guys, simplicity is a joy.
I'm much like you. I also like simplicity.
When it comes to blog designs, I also get annoyed by pop-ups and other stuff that it sometimes takes a while to load.
